Richard LarsonWatermark Receives Second PMI-MN Chapter Colleague Award
Watermark Principal, Richard Larson, was recently presented the 2005 Chapter Colleague Award by the Minnesota Chapter of PMI. The award credits a lifetime achievement for chapter members who have made significant and progressive contributions to the chapter and to the project management profession. Watermark modestly boasts that we are two-time award winners. Principal Elizabeth Larson was the recipient of the 2004 award.

Principals Co-Chair IIBA Body of Knowledge Review Committee
Elizabeth Larson and Richard Larson have been selected to co-chair the Review Committee for the International Institute of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

IIBA President, Kathleen Barret, shared IIBA's appreciation for Watermark's involvement by stating that "Watermark has been a strong supporter of IIBA’s goals, especially through its sponsorship of chapters in both Minneapolis and Phoenix. Both Elizabeth and Richard saw the Review Committee as a great opportunity to expand their support into an even more critical area for the IIBA and volunteered to take on this significant task. They have put together their plan and are well on their way."

Watermark Supports Hurricane Katrina Disaster Relief Efforts
Watermark Learning will donate 5% from every public class registration received during the rest of September to UNICEF, the United Nation's Children Fund to help with Hurricane Katrina disaster relief efforts. All public class registrations made in September count towards this effort, regardless of when the class will be held in 2005.

 

Watermark Learning is helping launch the Twin Cities and Phoenix Chapters of IIBA
Watermark Learning is helping launch the Twin Cities and Phoenix Chapters of the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA). The IIBA is an international nonprofit organization for business analysis. The organization was formed in March 2004 and is moving quickly to establish a Body of Knowledge and accreditation for business analysis.

Are you interested in helping to form the local chapter of the IIBA? Add your name and email address to our mailing list and we'll keep you up-to-date on the formation of the chapter and meeting dates. A minimum of 15 IIBA members is required to organize the chapter and petition the corporate office. Learn more.

 

 

Watermark offers Certificate Programs in Business Analysis and Project Management
Watermark
has partnered with Auburn University to offer Masters Certificates in and Business Analysis and Project Management. Students will receive continuing education credits (CEUs) from Auburn University for each class in which they participate. Classes can be taken as public courses in Minnesota or Phoenix and are available as private, customized offerings through onsite corporate training..
