CBAP Certification Update & Upcoming Exam DeadlinesBecoming an IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP™) is an increasingly important requirement for an intermediate or senior business analyst. PMP Passport Reports "PMI Receives ISO Accreditation for Certification Programs"Project Management Professional (PMP®) credential holders now have an additional advantage when it comes to approaching senior management or potential employers, reports Michelle Bowles of PMP Passport. As of December 2006, PMI’s PMP Certification Program received ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024 accreditation, which ensures that personnel certifying bodies meet a certain set of standards. BPMN being added to Business Process ModelingThe field of business process management has changed dramatically over the past few years. Processes have begun to be viewed as corporate assets, and maximizing their value can enhance organization performance. Until now, there has not been a standard modeling technique to facilitate process modeling. The Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) depicts the end-to-end flow of a business process. The notation has been specifically designed to coordinate the sequence of processes and the messages that flow between different process participants in a related set of activities.
