Survey
Provides Insight on Process Improvement
Tools
A study recently conducted
by the The Benchmarking Exchange a leading online
forum for information on benchmarking and
business processes, revealed some interesting
results.
Among Information Technology,
Customer Service/Help Desk, and HR respondents,
Benchmarking, Cause and Effect Analysis,
Process Mapping, and Change Management were
the most frequently used tools to improve
processes. By far the #1 impediment
blocking process improvement efforts was
"lack of human resources to implement
changes" (no surprise there). Other
roadblocks, though, might surprise you.

recommendations to help with your own process
improvement efforts. To access survey results,
