{"id":5174,"date":"2013-11-25T16:42:26","date_gmt":"2013-11-25T22:42:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.watermarklearning.com\/blog\/?p=5174"},"modified":"2024-08-26T11:53:46","modified_gmt":"2024-08-26T16:53:46","slug":"watermark-learning-improves-its-masters-certificate-in-project-management-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.watermarklearning.com\/blog\/watermark-learning-improves-its-masters-certificate-in-project-management-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Watermark Learning Improves Its Masters Certificate in Project Management Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><b>(<\/b><b>Minneapolis, MN &#8212; <\/b><b>Nov. 15, 2013)<\/b> &#8212; Representatives with Watermark Learning\u00a0announced today that it has made significant improvements to its Masters Certificate in Project Management Program (MCPM).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe MCPM Program has been expanded to include a new set of three required courses, plus a much greater set of elective courses to provide more flexibility to students enrolled in the program,\u201d said Elizabeth Larson, CEO of Watermark Learning.<\/p>\n<p>Larson went on to point out that under Watermark\u2019s improved Masters Certificate in Project Management program, the newly added electives emphasize influencing and other soft skills, which are essential for success for Project Managers in the current market.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe expanded list of electives gives students the ability to custom design their own certification programs based on their needs and interests,\u201d Larson stressed, before adding, \u201cWatermark certificate programs are awarded in conjunction with Auburn University, and students may also do additional work to receive undergraduate or graduate credits for all classes through Concordia University.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The revised MCPM program, according to Larson also puts new emphasis on the additional free resources available to the Watermark Learning student network via registration on the Watermark website, providing a continuing source of professional information for students.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re extremely excited about this,\u201d Larson said. \u201cOrganizations can now close the gap between learning and doing with our engaging classes, which are taught by certified practitioners who are also experienced facilitators.
