Overview:

This 4-day examination preparation workshop is designed to prepare students for Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification examination. Students learn test-taking tips and strategies and get hands-on experience with tools and techniques included in the test. Discussion of the extensive materials covering all of the concepts and tools in project management get reinforced through individual work, group exercises, and practice tests. Watermark offers a small class learning environment led by experienced and expertly trained instructors. This workshop is consistent with the project management practices outlined in A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) – Sixth Edition.

Pre-requisites:

Before taking this course, students must fulfill the experience requirement for sitting for the PMP® exam:

  • Four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or global equivalent) and 4500 hours of project management experience, or
  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree or global equivalent) and 7500 hours of project management experience.

A combination of lecture, facilitated discussion and exercises, numerous practice questions specific to each area, and a full 200-question, 4-hour exam simulation at the end of the course contribute to exam readiness. Each participant will receive the following materials:

The afternoon of the last day is reserved for discussion of test questions and review of problem areas covered in class.
