Watermark Learning Improves Its Masters Certificate in Project Management Program

(Minneapolis, MN — Nov. 15, 2013) — Representatives with Watermark Learning announced today that it has made significant improvements to its Masters Certificate in Project Management Program (MCPM).

“The MCPM Program has been expanded to include a new set of three required courses, plus a much greater set of elective courses to provide more flexibility to students enrolled in the program,” said Elizabeth Larson, CEO of Watermark Learning.

Larson went on to point out that under Watermark’s improved Masters Certificate in Project Management program, the newly added electives emphasize influencing and other soft skills, which are essential for success for Project Managers in the current market.

A complete list of the courses, Larson noted, can be viewed at: https://www.watermarklearning.com/certification/project-management-training/academic/masters-certificate.php.

“The expanded list of electives gives students the ability to custom design their own certification programs based on their needs and interests,” Larson stressed, before adding, “Watermark certificate programs are awarded in conjunction with Auburn University, and students may also do additional work to receive undergraduate or graduate credits for all classes through Concordia University.”

The revised MCPM program, according to Larson also puts new emphasis on the additional free resources available to the Watermark Learning student network via registration on the Watermark website, providing a continuing source of professional information for students.

“We’re extremely excited about this,” Larson said. “Organizations can now close the gap between learning and doing with our engaging classes, which are taught by certified practitioners who are also experienced facilitators. Skills learned and practiced in class reflect PMI industry best practices and are immediately applicable to your real-world project work. Our training program applies a real-world, hands-on approach to project management with an emphasis on translating the complexity of industry standards into practical application.”
